Mrs. Crosby Adams which describes the plans for the Crosby Adams Fine Arts
Building on the Montreat College campus in Montreat, N.C. The building was to be
a tribute to the two musicians, an exact replica of the music room in the Adam's
home and would contain furnishings, pianos and library. The idea was proposed by
the North Carolina Federation of Music Clubs in the 1940's and a fund raising
campaign was held. Although building plans were never finalized, the Crosby
Adams papers are now housed in the Presbyterian Historical Society (Montreat,
N.C.) and in the L. Nelson Bell Library, Montreat College, Montreat, N.C. ( 8
