Description="Mrs. Crosby Adams, noted musician, wrote a
number of piano compositions and two children's books featuring dolls as the
theme. For many years, she collected dolls, some of which are now housed in the
Montreat College Library, Montreat, North Carolina. Her children's books are
illustrated with photographs taken by Edith Winifred Tait of several of those
dolls. This photograph is one of those made of a doll named Juliette, the main
character in Mrs. Adams' book Days in a Doll's Life. (7 1/4" x 5 1/2"
