Dr. Eric Jones comes to Montreat College from Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he has served on the faculty since 2000. He served there as the coordinator of a campus initiative to integrate a Christian worldview and the various academic disciplines. Dr. Jones holds a doctorate degree in experimental psychology and will be instrumental in developing the psychology program at the college. He is currently coauthoring a social psychology textbook to be published by InterVarsity Press.

Regarding the role of a Christian professor, Dr. Jones states, “I will endeavor each day to exemplify stewardship, to model a lifestyle of learning, to think critically and model for others how to do so, and articulate a Christian worldview and how that worldview informs our understanding of psychology.”
