Digging Deeper Assignments

1. Think about your own writing. Come up with examples of three different rhetorical strategies you have used in the last semester. Be prepared to share with the group.

2. Take one topic; think of ways to utilize several rhetorical formats to write about the topic. A controversial topic such as birth control, Dr. Kevorkian, or school bussing works best for such an exercise.

3. Create or update your resume and write a cover letter for a particular position (real or imaginary).

4. Write a memo to the Writing Center Director about your experiences to date in the Writing Center.
